Ruby Thursday

Faq

Q. What does Luce means?
A. Luce is an italian word that means "Light".
Q. Why do some characters have italian names?
A. The italian words I chose are all bond to the elements and the nature. Italian here is supposed to be an ancient language, and giving a nature/element related name to a children is considered a good omen. It's mostly a Nabe tradition, though.
Q. What tools do you use to do Ruby Thursday?
A. I use Fabriano sheets, non photo pink pencil, pencil, copic multiliners and brushes for the traditional half of the work. Then I scan the page and color with Adobe Photoshop CS3.
Q. What script do you use to run the website?
A. The script is original and made thinking on RT, but it will be available for download once all the bugs, the installer and the different layout will be implemented. I'm loving it myself. Thank you dear slave for scripting this for me <3
Q. Are you retarded? Can't you write properly?
A. Please keep in mind that english is not my first language, and that I'm doing my best with the script. I'm asking help from some english speaker friends and I'm opened to suggestion. You can email me the errors (using asukasoryu[at]gmail.com) or point them out on the forum. Just please don't be an ass.
Q. How many hours do you need to do a page of rt from start to finish?
A. I was always told I was quick at both drawing and coloring, but RT really takes me a lot of time. I want to do it properly, so I spend A LOT of time and effort on it even if it may looks like it's casual. The most time-spending part is surely the traditional one. I sketch various layout and panels and then I chose the one that fits my script better and draw it. I'm really slow at inking, so the traditional part alone can last from 4 to 8 hours. The colors are so much quick, even when I have to create special effects, and they're made in about two hours.
I wish I was quicker, I could create a lot more buffer pages X3 anyway to answer properly I'd say a page of RT is about 10 hours of work.
Q. WTF? Almost all of the site sections are working on!
A. Well, I work and run the website. In the meantime I also try to live, so this means that the site will be updated slowly.
