About The author
Asuka: beautiful, genius, humble and easily addicted.
I've always been bad at this kind of things, but people seem to like reading about the author of the webcomic--So I guess I have give it a shot.
I work as a professional Colorist, though I'm supposed to be a graphical advertiser.
I have way too many fandoms people are not aware of because of my lazyness. I'd like to draw fanarts or talk about this and that--but then I just rather sleep or do other things. Like this comic, for instance.
Ruby Thursday is my first serious attempt at a comic. I've drawn for other people before, tried to draw short stories and even did the art for Abstract Gender but this is totally different. This is *my* comic, and I hope to get better at both art and storytelling to show what I had in mind for so long. I have a story, I have what I think are great characters... now I just have to give them life.
I will write a serious page, less confused...Sooner or later. Right now my lazyass (plus the fact it's 5.50 AM as I write) wins.
About Ruby Thursday
This section is heavily working on. I have no idea on how much and when I will update this section mostly because my idea was to explain things in the comic FIRST and THEN write down all the things that a new reader too lazy to read the archive would want to know. That, and the fact that my english sucks is really bad.
Nabe: Nabes are, basically, talking animals. They're bigger than real animals, and have a deep bond to nature and magic. They're almost a legend by now as they're really a few and shows themselves just to spread The Queen's word. Yes--They're messengers. Luce, Otoh and all the others so called "Nabe" are nothing but half-blood, kind of a new species. Of course it's full of people who sees these new "nabes" as something that shouldn't exist, monsters and beasts (like this guard). On the other side, it's most likely Ancient Nabes would do the same discrimination, too. Yes, there's racism in fictional world and webcomics; isn't it cool?
Mermaid: heh, translations are a pain in the a##
Humans: Well. Humans. I think you might get the idea looking at the mirror.
